Bump n’ Grind Truncated – 3

The saga continues.

The California Department of Fish and Game had previously closed a half-mile section of at the top of the trail but their fence was pulled down by hikers.

They have vowed to install a more sturdy gate later this month to keep hikers out.

More than 200 people using this trail every day but the DFG scientists say that the human presence is disturbing groups of ewes that are caring for their young nearby. I’ve been hiking this area for many years and have never seen any sheep on or around the Bump n’ Grind.
